2018-06-08-CAP-Oshkosh-Cadet-Power-Academy: Civil Air Patrol Cadet Powered Flight Academy - Airplanes was at Oshkosh (KOSH), WI, June 08, 2018 thru June 17, 2018. We had 16 CAP Cadets and flew Cessna 172 aircraft. We use the same CAP Barracks and Dining facility as CAP Blue Beret Oshkosh/AirVenture Encampment... we get to fly and learn to fly. :-) Because we fly 8-10 aircraft, we disburse to the nearby airports, up to 40 miles away, do our airwork, then fly back to Oshkosh. We were rained out and blown out several times, yet most cadets got their 10 hours of flight time and much more than that for ground school. Our Banquet was at the EAA Museum on Sunday Evening, 06/17/18. 06/17/18.
