2016-07-10-CAP-Cadet-Glider-Academy-SCOH: Civil Air Patrol National Cadet Glider Academy was held at Soaring Club Of Houston (SCOH) at their private airport (89TA) ~45 miles NW of Houston, TX, near Waller, Texas. We had 16 cadets, some soloed, some pre-soloed (CAP qualification), and some progressed as far as they could, considering the CAP 30 flight and no solo at first glider academy restrictions. We used all local equipment, SGS_2-33, Blanik L-23 and ASK-21. CAP has an SGS-2-33 based at SCOH, and it is used for all cadet solos.
