2016-07-04-Leadville-Mtn-Fly: 4th of July, 2016, Fly-in to Leadville for burgers and hot dogs. We departed Fort Collins/Loveland Airport (KFNL), Colorado, for Leadville Airport (KLXV), about 9:30 AM, arriving at Leadville about an hour and a half later. There were a lot of people at the airport, so we took the courtesy van into town, toured the shops and had lunch, departing for homr about 2:30 PM. It was a great flying day in the mountains, Van enjoyed himself flying his Piper Arrow, and Carla took some great pictures! Jer/ Eberhard, mountain flying instructor.
