2014-07-27-Oshkosh: Bob and Jer/ decided to take "Redbird" to Oshkosh/AirVenture in 2014. The agreement was that Bob would fly our 1946 Cessna 140, N89297, from Fort Collins - Loveland Airport (KFNL), Colorado, to Oshkosh Airport (KOSH), WI, and Jer/ would fly it home. That worked... yet it still was a long trip, even one way. How did Jer/ get there? Friend Rick Turley wanted to take his Cessna 182 to Oshkosh, so Jer/ caught a ride out with Rick. Bob came back with Sue in her Cessna 182. On the way back, I was weathered into Minden, Nebraska, so I got to see Pioneer Village and land at the Pioneer Village Airport (0V3).
